World Records for Horacio April 2 2004
Horacio Miranda (Argentina) has had two world record claims ratified by the FAI.
Flying a Standard Jantar 2 on December 1 from Chos Malal, Argentina, he gained
the 15m Class 100km triangular speed record with 249.09km/h which had been held
since May 7, 2000 by Jim Payne (USA) at 234.95km/h. This also gave him the Open
Class 100km triangular speed record held briefly by Tom K. Serkowski (USA) with
243.40km/h on November 9.
